About HowToPrompts

HowToPrompts is a continuously-updated library and newsroom for people who work with AI. This page explains what it is, who runs it, and how everything on it is made.

What HowToPrompts is

HowToPrompts is a reference library and an original newsroom, side by side. The library catalogues the things practitioners actually reach for: prompts, MCP servers, Claude and agent skills, autonomous agents, open-source repositories, and standalone AI tools. Each entry is a page you can search, filter, and link to. The newsroom publishes original coverage of the AI field — new models, funding, research, policy, hardware and robotics — written by us rather than aggregated as headlines that send you somewhere else.

The two halves share a goal: give you the current state of a fast-moving field in one place, without the marketing gloss, and keep it fresh instead of letting it rot.

How the newsroom works

News articles are written in-house by the HowToPrompts newsroom. Stories are identified from public reporting and press sources — official company blogs, research papers, regulator announcements, press releases, and community discussion. Once a story is chosen, it is researched and written from scratch in our own words. We do not copy source text, and we do not lightly reword it.

Facts are attributed to where they came from, and every article credits its originating source at the end. The only element ever reused from a source is a news photo, which appears with a visible "Image: <source>" credit beneath it. Article drafting is AI-assisted and then run through automated originality and quality checks before publishing; the full process is described in our Editorial Policy.

How the library is sourced

Library entries are built from public data. We pull from public APIs and feeds — GitHub, npm, Hacker News, and official RSS — and re-express what we find as a consistent, readable listing rather than a raw dump. Descriptions are rewritten in our own words.

Numeric details such as GitHub star counts, npm install counts, and pricing are live-sourced from those public endpoints. Treat them as accurate as of the time each page was last refreshed; upstream numbers change constantly, and a listing is a snapshot, not a guarantee.

Who runs it

HowToPrompts is a small, independent publisher run by an independent team. It is operated from Türkiye for a global audience. We are keeping this section deliberately modest: there is no large staff, no investor, and no parent company behind the name.

Mission & independence

Our mission is to be the most current, most honest single reference for working with AI — a place where the library is real, the news is written by people who understand the field, and nothing is padded to fill space.

HowToPrompts is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any company we cover. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
