Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing HowToPrompts ("the service", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. What the service is

HowToPrompts is a free, continuously-updated library of AI resources — repositories, MCP servers, skills, agents, tools, prompts, animations, and related items. Listings are compiled from public APIs and feeds, then re-expressed and organised for readability. We add and change listings frequently and without notice.

3. Accounts

• Accounts are created through Google Sign-In. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• One person per account. Do not share credentials or impersonate anyone.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
• We may suspend or terminate an account that is used for abuse, that breaches these terms, or where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl, or harvest the site except as permitted by our robots.txt, or make automated bulk requests beyond it;
• launch denial-of-service attacks, flood the service with traffic, or otherwise degrade it for others;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or non-public data;
• upload, submit, or link to content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, deceptive, or that violates someone's rights;
• circumvent security or access controls, or probe the service except under our security policy.

5. User-submitted content

• You keep ownership of the prompts, images, text, and other material you submit.
• You grant HowToPrompts a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content publicly on the service, with attribution to your profile.
• You warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you submit and that publishing it does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law.
• Submitted content appears publicly under your username. Do not submit anything confidential.
• We may edit, refuse, or remove any submission at our discretion, for example if it breaches these terms or we receive a valid complaint.

6. Intellectual property

The design, layout, and code of HowToPrompts are © HowToPrompts and may not be copied or reused without permission. Third-party product names, logos, and trademarks referenced on the site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. The factual details in listings are drawn from public APIs and feeds and remain the property of their sources; attribution links point back to the original.

7. No warranty — service provided "as is"

The service and all listings are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Listings are aggregated from external sources and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. Verify anything important against the original source before you rely on it. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HowToPrompts and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, while the service is free, is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Paid plans

The site presents a "Go Pro" option, but billing is not yet active. No charges are taken today and no payment details are collected. This section will be updated with pricing, billing, and refund terms when paid plans launch; using the service before then is free.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law — continue to apply.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts and enforcement offices of Türkiye have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.

12. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the service evolves. We will update the date below and, for material changes, note it on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
