ChainIT Expands AI Oversight to Verify Policy and Compliance Before Agent Actions

ChainIT's updated platform now checks whether existing compliance documentation and internal policies allow an AI agent to perform a requested action.

ChainIT, a governance platform for enterprise AI, has extended its oversight capabilities beyond identity verification. The company previously focused on determining which human or system authorized an AI agent to operate. Now, it addresses a second question: whether the current compliance evidence and policy framework actually permit the agent to proceed with a given task.

The updated system reviews stored compliance artifacts, such as audit logs and policy documents, in real time. It cross-references these against the agent's proposed action to flag inconsistencies or missing approvals. This aims to close gaps where an agent may have valid authorization credentials but still operate outside established organizational rules or regulatory requirements.

ChainIT positions the enhancement as a step toward more accountable autonomous systems. By linking authorization to live policy checks, enterprises can reduce the risk of unintended or non-compliant AI behavior. The feature is available to current customers through the company's existing platform interface.
